EMSELLA - A BREAKTHROUGH TREATMENT FOR URINARY INCONTINENCE
NOW AVAILABLE IN MELBOURNE
This unique technology revolutionizes the women’s intimate health and wellness category by providing those suffering from incontinence with a completely non-invasive option.
Importance of Pelvic Floor Muscles
The pelvic floor muscles support the bladder, uterus, and bowel. The pelvic floor can be weakened by pregnancy, childbirth, prostate cancer treatment, obesity, and the straining of chronic constipation. Some of the symptoms of a weakened pelvic floor include:
Stress Incontinence - leaking urine when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or running
Urge Incontinence - failing to reach the toilet in time
reduced sensation in the vagina which affects intimate health and pleasure
The traditional recommendation to strengthen pelvic floor muscles involves an exercise called Kegel. The challenge with Kegel is that many people struggle to do it correctly as well as consistently. This is where Emsella chair comes in. The chair’s High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology stimulates the pelvic floor muscles with thousands of contractions per session at a much higher level of contraction that can be done voluntarily.
